Cecily Legler Strong is a well-known American stand-up comedian and actor well-known as a prominent part of the cast on 'Saturday night Live'. Her career began with acting, but discovered her love for stand-up comedy at nine after a class in the art of improv. She hoped to pursue acting a living, but realized she was destined for comedy and changed her focus on improv shows. Her first professional gig was aboard a cruise vessel, doing shows with fellow performers from Second City Conservatory & iO Chicago. Strong is still performing at popular festivals, including Chicago Sketch Fest. The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. New York Sketchfest. Also, Virgin Daiquiri. Virgin Daiquiri is an all-female Improv troupe. The show's biggest star was 2012 when she joined "Saturday Night Life" during the 39th season as a guest cast member co-anchoring on the Weekend Update segment first with Seth Meyers and later with Colin Jost. Her most memorable performance was when she played the role of "the girl that you'd rather not have started a conversation with at a gathering'. The year before she began her film career with the release of a short movie titled 'How to Sponsor the Uterus'.
