Hayley Orantia is American singer, actress and singer. Most people know her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. According to her, music was always her first passion. When she was 12, music became serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. At the age of 13, she started writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover was released 14 years after. Since then, she has never looked back. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. She's proud of the fact that she has Hispanic roots even though she was raised using English only and never lived in Mexico. By learning Spanish and writing songs she is trying to maintain the spirit of her culture. The singer recorded a Spanish version of a track, titled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia was picked to perform for the first season, which aired in summer 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was picked through YouTube videos and received an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. She was originally a solo performer, but in the course of "Hollywood Week" and three other female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
