In 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes on ABC's drama The Family. In 2017, Perry starred in the role of a political thriller Scandal with her father. In addition, she played in the role of a older Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon - a CBS spin-off from The Big Bang Theory. Despite having a family connection to the character she received the role via an audition.
